About Kelly Lane Powell

I see that you have found me.  I will start by saying Welcome and I am happy that you stopped by.

A little about me.  I am a born and raised Texan and have lived in South Central Texas all my life.  The country is my home where, when I am not taking photos I am riding my horses, playing with my dogs, bird watching or enjoying time with my family.  I love the outdoors and nature and that is why I have built an outdoor studio area at my home along with my indoor studio. 
 
  I have been a nurse since 1992 and have loved every minute of it. I am a retired  pediatric  nurse for babies with complicated medical diagnosis and special needs.  

I have 4 children, 2 of my own and 2 that were my husband's but are mine now.  Between the 4 of them we have 7 grandsons and 2  granddaughters. My grandchildren are the light of my life.  I am proud to be called Nana and it makes my heart sing. 

I decided to become a professional photographer since I did grow up with a dad that was a pro photographer.  I followed him around, learning everything I could.  He taught me the importance of getting those once in a lifetime images.
